Here are some photos of Undercover's Ultra Flex tonneau cover on my 2017 Titan half ton. As I said in previous post I also had a Flex cover for several years on my Frontier and loved it. Some nice benefits of the Flex are the integrated tie down straps for when its 2/3rd open and the prop rods for when it is all the way open. This one being the "Ultra" has carpeting on the bottom, with the main difference being the top which is a matte powder coated metal instead of the textured fiberglass on the flex (it is pretty dusty in the photos). The ultra also comes with a truck luggage bag that hangs from the rail system (mine does not have the ulititrack system). The bag is nice for jumper cables, tow straps, etc... The ultra also has a new design for the tailgate seal which allows you to more easily close the tailgate without having to first open the first section of the cover.

It will be interesting to see how the powder coated cover holds up in the heat and if it resists scratching. That is my only concern otherwise I love the smooth look of the matte back finish and hinged sections.

I have the undercover flex on my 17 Titan pro4x and there are two kits. One with clips that attach the tracks via the rails and one for trucks that don't have the utility track. The rails do not have to be flipped
David where did you purchase yours from?

Do you have a picture with the tracks flipped? I just had a flex installed and it is clamped to the track but the cleats don't fit now.
This is the same prob on gen 1 you have to flip the rails to fit the cleats luckily the undercover mount fits flipped and unflipped

I also heard that you need to invert the rails. But if you do it would appear that the clamps shown in the pic above is either the wrong clip or won't work. To work the outside piece would have to be longer to compensate for the inverted position. Unless the inside piece can be inverted as well.

How much are you paying OTD?

I did not have to flip any rails to install mine.

I love the cover but you basically lose the utilitrack ability because of the clips.

3 clips on each side. install was less than 20 minutes and can be removed 100% from the truck in 10

What is the undercover flex model or manufacturer part number for this clip on type? I'm very interested as I have the rail system.

Two more thumbs up on the undercover UX52013! I just installed mine yesterday and it was a piece of cake! My 2017 has the tracks and the titan boxes and both work fine with no mods or adjustments (did not turn the tracks upside down). I did not do this but believe that if you put your utility track cleats in the rails before installing the tonneau cover rails, you could use the cleats and move them between the tonneau cover hardware, although taking the cover hardware off is simple with a 1/2" ratchet.

The only unexpected part of installation with the UX52013 was in the installation guide and video, they tell you to push the tonneau rails all the way forward toward the bulkhead of the cab. If you go all the way forward, your drain plugs on the underside of the rails will be blocked by the underside of the bulkhead utility track rail on the truck. I was ready to remove the top track and mark and drill it, when I realized that by simply sliding the tonneau rail back 1/2 inch, I could clear the drain plug from the cab utility track rail without drilling.. The rail still seats perfectly and does not interfere with the closing of the tailgate, even though not completely flush with the front bed rail. If, I end up with water infiltration along the top (which I doubt due to the foam seal and the fact that cover completely covers the entire bulkhead rail), I could either remove the front utility track rail or drill a hole for the drain tube!! Time will tell as my cover hasn't been rained on yet!
I attached few pics...The first just a view of the cover..the second a view of the underside showing how the cover mounts and doesn't interfere with titan boxes, and the last picture showing how the drain tube works without removing or drilling the top utility track rail.

The undercover site says this model doesn’t work with the Titan Box. Do you know why? Several above say it works fine.

I’ll answer my own question. It worked fine with my Titan boxes and utili-track. I think it is just talking about the saddle bag that comes with this kit. It of course won’t work, which Isn’t an issue because I have he Titan boxes.

I also have this cover. It works fine with the utiliti-track system, you just have to wait mechanically inclined enough to know how to do it. Nice cover and the saddle bag works fine with my 110v outlet in the bed. Totally worth the investment.
