I'm most likely going to make the OK meet this Saturday. Will have to make it a one day trip though.

September meet at McKinney Nissan sounds like a fun alternative to me. It would be cool to see all kinds of modded Nissans. Free food and drinks never hurt either.
:hungry: :spam:

I am all for having a meet in October that your Father-in-law could make it to. Place doesn't really matter to me. We always have a good time no matter where we meet up. Maybe we could set it up to do a convoy like we did last time. Short and sweet. He would probably get a big kick out of it.

Are there any other Ideas for "Where" to meet?
Cedar Hill State Park is a very nice place to meet. Only problem is, it's 10 bucks per vehicle and only 10 minutes from my place. Right on the lake, nice view, restrooms always accessible. We could even put your boat in the water. Boat launch right near the parking area. Just a thought.

I love those guys up @ Nissan of McKinney. They stole my 18 inch rims and Viper 791xv pager alarm off of my Grand Am when they promised to take it off. :futwice: to Nissan of McKinney!

Not sure if I can make the Nissan of McKinney thing or not. Technically I will be living in McKinney at the time but the 28th is the day I was planning on moving if I can round up enough help.

I am in McKinney... what day? the 29th of this month? is it official?

I just had my Titan all modded out, and plan to do more! I would love to meet some fellow Titan owners in the area.

hey TTUgrad... what was your major at TTU? I was CS.
I graduated in 95 with a BS in International Economics. I'm moving to McKinney at the end of the month, whether this meet happens or not we will have to get together. Another member, lanespd200 lives in McKinney and usually tried to attend the meets, great guy.

Why are you moving to McKinney? work, or because its a nice place to live? :upsidedow Shoot me an IM when you get into town... maybe us Titan owners can have local get-togethers... Tried that a couple times with the Jeep club when I had a Jeep, but nobody ever showed although many said they would... a little rain would scare them away too! hehe

The McKinney Nissan thing has already happened, two weekends ago. They didn't get much of a turn out, 7 I think and no Titans.

We can have a meet, but we need to figure out somewhere to meet. Grapevine Lake is still shut down. The 29th is fine with me. If that's John's at work weekend, then I would be open to either the 22nd or Oct. 7th so that he can make this one, if he wants to.:upsidedow

I am pretty much open to any day....

However, the 1st post says this, nothing about August...:

Work, I live in Arlington and work at Frito-Lay, the drive is killing me. Yes, it is a nicer place to live, Arlington is going down the crapper fast. Its to the point where I won't go to the convenience store after dark and try not to go to one here at all if possible. Thats funny, I used to have a Jeep as well and know what you mean about them not following through on get togethers. Its actually kind of that way with any kind of "club" in the DFW area for some reason.
I'll definitely be in touch when I get settled in.

Yeah, McKinney Nissan really seemed to drop the ball on getting this thing together.

As far as a meet, this place was suggested by Kopperking over on CT, which is fine with me.

"I suggest the Dalrock exit off I-30 (on lake Ray Hubbard)
-There's plenty of parking
-Free boat ramp
-the Club "Weekends" is within walking distance!!!"

How does Sunday Oct. 7th sound?

I think that LRH is way out there and pretty much alienates many of the Ft. Worth folks. There are plenty places that are more central. Lake Lewisville for example has several spots.

It doesn't bother me to go out there. Lake Lewisville is also still pretty much shut down at present.

At this time, it looks like we will do the meet on Saturday, Oct. 6. That is when Sean's Father-in-law will be here.

If enough people want to do a meet, in addition to Oct 6, at an earlier time, shout out and we can figure something out.

Lewisville is completely open, the lake is at normal levels, Grapevine is the one that they haven't let any water out of. Doesn't bother me either way, I'll be living in McKinney at that point and I don't think Rockwall is too terribly far.

Weekends Restaurant - more info »
600 Cooke Dr, Rowlett, TX
(972) 412-1976

As suggested on CT, we could meet in the parking lot, or hang in the Bar.

David, John and any other Plano/Mckinney members:
You can take 190 (Bush Tollway) East until it turns into Rowlett Rd.
Turn left on Belt Line Rd. (in Garland) to I=30 East to Dalrock.

Ft. Worth Guys can take I-30 due East to Dalrock exit.

My suggestion was to have a place nearby with A/C just in caser its too HOT for the "Old-man" - The Fact that there's BEER is the Icing!!!! lol

I'll also be in town the 15th and 16th weekend (I had to cancell going the New Branfels Meet, my Dad is in the Hospital)
So, like Bryan said if yall want to have a meet earlier than the 6th, say something......

-Or, although I'm on "Call" the weekend David is moving, If I can get somebody else to cover me, we can do a "Moving Caravan" for David?!
