Upper control arm hitting shock mount

Just wondering if anyone else out there has experienced their upper control arm smacking the upper shock mount as the wheels drop down in full extension:confused: . I can see where it is cutting into the shock mount. I do have the 2.5" leveling kit, but I didn't think 2.5" would cause this. Not sure why Nissan wouldn't have centered the shock mount to completely clear the upper arm.

Any thoughts welcome.

Thanks,

Brian

Do you have a 4x4? The 2.5" leveling kit will cause the interference on the 4x4.

Sure do. I didn't realize a half inch difference would cause this. What stinks is I ordered the kit specifying a '06 4x4. I'm considering just modifing the section of the upper shock mount to accomodate the travel of the upper arm. Doesn't seam like I'd have to take to much out or have to weld very much. It really isn't too noticable until you get in the rough stuff at low speeds, so I may just hold out for an actual susp lift later on.

Thanks for the info,

Brian
