Uprev question

Can uprev do a tune for the 08's yet? I saw that they were able to do the tune for the 07's; isn't the 08 the same as the 07? I also sent uprev an email with the question, and they never returned an answer?

Thanx for any help:)

not sure about the uprev but love the wish list with the train horn! I am getting one also that would be great!!!
haha ya they are so much fun. One of my friends has one and it is LOUD!!!!!!, expensive though for just a loud sound lol
08's are different from the 07. UpRev is not available on the 08 yet.
You would think they'd be the same, as VVT was introduced on 07. But ECU is different, and they have said it will be out soon. It is worth the wait!
I talked to a guy at stillen today and he told me the VK pro would be out for the 08 in a few weeks! He said the were in the process of weatherizing it. Would you guys go with the VK pro or wait for the uprev? Why?
ohh ya!! the VK pro, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe they advertise better gains than uprev. Why does uprev get so much more attention?? I'm guessing it has better real world gains. Can't wait to get uprev though!!!!:gunz:

VK Pro - "By altering timing and fuel STILLEN is able to optimize the power of the 5.6L V8 and provide a boost of 30 HP and 40 Lb-ft. of torque @ 3800rpm, where it's most effective."

Uprev dyno - aproxamently 11hp and 21 lb-ft of torque

I've got the 93 UpRev Tune. It is a whole lot more going on than that 11HP on a Dyno! WOT and downlow performance, virtually all debate has sided with UpRev having the best real world results.

Ever seen a VK-Pro race? They're hiding all the results apparently. :)

Who gives you more power, the stillen or uprev upgrade? Im planning on buying a computer upgrade and I want the one that will give me the most power. I keep reading uprev is good....
Unlike Uprev the VK Pro does not fix the DBW delay or change the speed limiter and if you have more than a CAI and exhaust you can not retune for the other changes. If you install the KV and your A/F is off there is no way to fix it even if you send it back to them. Chiper is a dataloging software that comes with the Uprev tune, if your A/F is off they can fix it and Uprev will send you a new tune for free.
I emailed UpRev last week and they got back to me. Here is the email:
Not yet :(, but I’ll put your contact info on the waitlist. We’ll let you know when we have support ready for it.

Whats a burnout mod???

You can cut a wire at your pedal or ECU harnness and put a toggle switch on that will shut off VDC. This will allow full power when standing on the brake - hence the burnout.

Is that something I can do at home or do I have to take it to a shop?
Do it at home! I want to attempt it but you have to disconnect your battery and I don't want to lose my 2 degree advance.
I want to do it but I dont know how
