I have a Vibrant UQ for sale. I had it on the truck for literally 3 days. It was welded on. I was not a fan, so it was cut off.

If anyone wants it, how about $60 shipped?

This.

I may maybe possibly be interested if he isn't. I've been going back and forth with the idea of redoing my exhaust over the past month or so, so I may need this. And a new y-pipe. And an xr-1. And that new JBA tip... $$$

I picked it up from him.

Hops, I'm planning on running this with my normal exhaust, and then buying that downturn from Jeff in the near future. It'll take me 5 minutes to switch them back and forth if I'm going on a trip and need quiet.

What did you not like about it, sound wise?

It definitely does a good job quieting it down. It's just not my daily driver and I liked how it sounded without it.

Thanks for the heads up.

I ride my bike every chance I get (pretty much if it's above 40 degrees and not raining) but the T is still technically my daily driver. The sound doesn't bother me at all as it is, but I don't feel like it would go off very well with the woman on road trips. The drone admittedly is kind of bad, but I've gotten used to it. I just love rolling down the windows and getting on the throttle. Really got to love that unrestricted roar...rasp, CIS and all. It's a characteristic of the engine. If only I could drop the drone for the sake of the passenger, without reducing anything else lol.

I may end up doing what you did and just welding it on, and cutting it off if it doesn't work out. I also like the idea of swapping for trips if needed, though I don't really have the luxury of space to store a spare muffler for an extended period of time. I may just wing it with the new setup and see how it goes.

I'm feel the same way. I think I may have just gotten used to it where I don't even notice the drone anymore.
