2006 Titan, vibration from 45 to well over speed limit, have rotated tires both front to rear, no change, is all in steering wheel and very fast and constant feels same in or out of 4x4 mode. Does not change with left or right curve that would load the bad side and give it away ??? Can not feel any roughness with wheels off and rotating the disc/axle ?? Any ideas on how to trouble shoot w/o having to disassemble ? Thanks

Could be a slew of things mine had a shake replacered outer tierods fixed mine but it could be u-joints, hubs, bushing on the control arms on the way out. Jack front end up see if there is any play in suspension or in drive shafts could even be crappy wheel balancing or you may just need an alignment so many minor possibilities.

No humming, have had that b4 in other vehicles, always a bearing.....Have had front end up and did all the "wiggle" tests for tie rod ends etc. Not wheel balance as it did not change when rotating tires from rear to front..........May put all four in the air and engage the 4x4 to see if can detect, thanks all for the info............

This is an old post but for an FYI, I’m having the exact same issue. The previous owner installed Corsa AT tires about a week before I bought it from him. It starts to vibrate at 45mph. Discount Tire where they were bought from said “you have so much dried clay under there that it’s causing the vibration”. Total BS. Another shop that my buddy runs tried to balance the wheels and said they’re total garbage tires which I agree with. He rotated the wheels and the vibration decreased.

so yeah moral of the story. Check tires first...
