I have a set of long tubes that I need out of my garage. Let’s just start by saying that I switched these out for JBA’s one day because the paper gaskets that were installed blew out and started leaking. I replaced the gaskets with new OEM gaskets and they still leaked, so I bought the JBA’s. Unfortunately for me the JBA’s also leak because I decided to replace the studs and stripped the head on the number 8 bolt on the driver’s side. Crappy luck runs in my blood. Even though that happened, I’m still pretty confident that these would leak even with all of the studs in working order. I think they are custom and the flange may not be perfectly flat which is probably why the previous owner used the paper gaskets. The JBA’s had a different style flange with raised areas around each tube, so I don’t even know why these don’t have the same ridges.

They have 3” collectors and the tubes are 1 3/4” outside diameter. They appear to be equal length headers and they did sound really nice prior to all of the gasket issues. I’m hoping someone that knows a little fabrication wants to pick these up cheap and possibly mill the flanges so that they are perfectly flat or just cut and weld completely new ones on. I’d hate for them to turn into trash because I certainly have no fabrication skills.

I’m asking $130 shipped and that the buyer acknowledges the fact that they are buying a flawed item. I don’t know if they can be fixed, that is the inherent risk of buying them.

Here are some photos:

Those look a lot like the nismo headers, everybody rants and raves about. Can't get these anymore new, I suspect they will sell fast to the right buyer

It's a shame i couldn't get them to reseal, to be honest. I had tuned it with UpRev, as well, right before the gaskets blew and it was a monster.

Are these actually Nismo headers, Dook-E? Or similar knockoffs?

NVM... If they were NISMO, they would be labeled as such.

I?ll take them if nightowl doesn?t, if were they on a 4x4 by chance? As long as they fit 4x4, I?m in.

My truck is actually 2WD, so I can’t say for sure. Other than the front axles I’m not sure of the differences between the two models.

Who by the way is like the most wholesome person ever. I have several of his products but tonight was the first time I actually got to speak with him. Great guy, great products. Thanks Jeff. Keep me updated on any shenanigans you might have planned for these. ??

Yeah I didn?t want to cut in line there, especially with someone I plan on purchasing quite a bit of stuff from in the future, but I have the resources to have fixed them up I believe. Anyway good luck with those I hope you get them working.

From the measurements of the flanges Dook gave me last night on the phone these are not the PRT (Nismo clones) that only a couple sets were produced. Im not sure what he has to be honest....
