ok, let me try this again :), here you go, the new Vortech kit dyno graphs on my personal truck. this is all on my dynojet at my shop...

first graph is my baseline vs Vortech



second graph is baseline vs Vortech and i added ice and water wetter to the intercooler, it looks like the torque converter slipped in the middle of the run.



third run is exhaust unhooked, ice in the air/water intercooler, played with the timing and fuel a bit, WOW!!! this truck hauls a$$ now.... :)

Looking good. But a question. Why are the dyno graphs showing MPH rather than RPM? It would help put the curves into perspective against other graphs.

Another question, did vortech get CARB approval yet for this kit? What's the boost set at?

450 ft lb TQ.......man......I'll be curious to see how long the tranny likes that!!!!!!!

Get some good track times!!!!! I hope you have drag radials!!! Ofcourse...they'll have to be tall ones unless you've sent your ECU off to get the speed limiter removed!!!

Thanks for the dyno graph, hopefully you can get the part you need to show RPM's on your graphs without too much grief. I can't wait to see the looks on some faces when you run this bad boy at Bithlo. There are a few people looking and asking about my truck but wait till they get a look at yours. I'll race you anyway and hope you break the tires loose for about the first 1/8th, lol. There are a couple of Lightings there that run high 13's regularly if you want a real race and they aren't putting down very good reaction times so you may have a good shot at them. After seeing these numbers, I will be there Wednesday even if I arrive late and spectate. See you there.

It will work out fine with the addition of three key components, no factory cats to get sucked up by the engine cause they can't take the heat, TruTrac for the weak diff and a different tranny or full build up. Not too much to worry about, lol. I believe he is ready to do what it takes to make this brick fly and it should be one helluva ride, whoooooooooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Congrats man on such a great running Titan! I can't wait to see what else you can do with it once it is broken in and you get a superb tune. I know everyone keeps saying it but you REALLY do need to post some photos of the finished product and at least some sound clips of the open exhaust so I know if it is bearable that way I can chop my muffler off also. Thanks and look forward to your future posts!

hahaha robb, its funny man, you were there from day one!! i will hook you up for cost on the Vortech for sure...


my rpm pickup acts soooooo crazy with my truck. it will NOT get a smooth graph based on rpms so i have to do mph. i have never seen such a horrible rpm graph. i switched it 8 times to every plug and even tried other spots. it just doesnt work right with my truck...

kinda makes me sad :(

i will keep trying to get a good rpm signal somehow. kinda sucks.

thanks everyone, i actually just played with the Unichip it comes with, the tune it comes with is very very nice and lots of power. it definitely doesnt need to be touched at all.. i am just not ever happy with things...


i actually upgraded the resevoir for the air/water intercooler already to a one gallon fuel cell so i could put some ice in there. very very happy with the whole setup right now
