Those of you that have used these to replace your secondary cats(4x4), how do you like them? Disadvantages? Advantages? What did they do for sound (louder, raspier, same as stock)??

They are louder than stock. I don't know if it was in my mind, but it felt like a little more power. I would recommend them.

They are way the fcuk louder than stock. I didn't notice much performance at first, but about a week later I noticed the truck was feeling really strong. I don't know if that means fast, but it felt very responsive. I had to add quieter mufflers to bring the sound back into the normal range.

Sounds good to me as long as its not raspy, i would think the resonators on them would prevent this. Right now i have stock pipes with the 24222 Bullet in place and want it louder but still want to maintain the deep throaty roar.

After reading around on some post some mentioned starting off with the 2.25-3.00 Flowmaster Y-Collector and running the 3" pipe all the way to the bullet to get the most out of it. I could see how this could possibly make it slightly louder due to the better flow? But not sure if i should just skip that and do B-Pipes since i can just directly bolt them up.

Really? Do these make a big difference? Louder and more performance?

I got mine from RockAuto as well. gweasel77 has the berk pipes and the sound is louder/better on his. He hasn't been able to tell if there was a significant performance increase or not (as far as I know).

I have a set if you are interested. They only have 2,300 miles on them. I am buying the berks because I got long tubes. They didn't add any cis on my JBA but every system is different they did make it a little louder. $50 shipped

I had a fm40 when I first got the walkers and it made the truck louder, but I still had a hard time hearing the exhaust. At that time, I had duals out the back and with the radio on and windows down I could still barely hear the exhaust (to my liking). I ended up getting the bullet with the reso tip (LTs a little later) and finally found the exhaust sound I was looking for.

I'm curious, but did this change anyone's fuel economy? I wouldn't think it would make a noticeable difference, but with a better flow, that can definitely help. Those damn stock pipes are tiny. I still have SOME of the stock piping so I will still be restricted, but this should definitely help.
