I love the fact that most people are too damn lazy to bring their carts to one of the 45 designated areas scattered around a parking lot. At least lift the front wheels onto a curb so it can't roll!!!

Yeah the two front wheels were popped on a curb, a good foot or two from the truck. I guess someone who wanted the cart, or the cart worker (which I doubt, there were still carts scaterd in the parking lot and no one working out there) that someone grabbed it and pushed/pulled it and in the rpocess, screwed up the truck!

I was able to get some of the scratch out, but near the end it actually digs into the metal. That wont buff out lol

What did you use to get most of the scratch out? I've got several scratches (however, not as deep as yours) that I would like to try and buff out if I could.

I've used the Mother's and Meguiars stuff in the past, but is there anything better?

I just used my finger and spit. Then for the harder stuff I used my finger nail.
But that was just to test to see how deep the cut is. I was just going to use hot soapy water and a lot of rubbing one out lol

Everything i can't get out, like the deep scratch, I'm going to juse use touch up paint.

This is why I park on the upside of a parking lot ( all parking lots are designed for water drainage, and as far as I know, Carts don't go up-hill )

I hope it buffs out for you?

Beat me to it.

I park away and uphill every time. Never had a problem.

Few weeks ago I had the side of the bed fixed where a rogue shopping cart slammed into the side of the bed. It hit so hard it put two dents where the rubber pads on the cart are about 10 inches apart, it also pushed a large dent into the side of the bed.. Called the insurance company and they said it was called a "no fault" claim and wouldn't make my insurance go up. Paid the $250.00 ded and drove a rental provided by my insurance company for a week.

It was nice to be able to actually USE the insurance and not get punished for it since i've dumped so much money into insurance over the years.

I remember when I had my Mustang I laid into an a**hat parked next to me because they were putting their bags from the cart onto the hood of my car, then into their hooptie.
