I bought my Pro 4X new in Jan 08. It's got 75k on the clock and the front shocks make a HORRIBLE noise when going over bumps (on road), and they sound broken when driving off road. I've never been satisfied with the ride quality or noise that come from these factory shocks anyway. So I'm hunting replacements.

I'm considering these Fox Performance Series coil overs and shocks from Total Auto Performance:

Performance Series Coilovers - Total Automotive Performance - Your Source for Auto Parts and Accessories

Performance Series Shocks - Total Automotive Performance - Your Source for Auto Parts and Accessories

I'm phishing for opinions on these compared to the factory junk, and opinions about other available options. I've got a PRG leveling spacer on the front factory coil overs, so it would be great if the replacement coil over was slightly taller and I could leave off the billet spacer.

Thanks for any opinions in advance.

Bilstein 5100's. Best suspension upgrade for a Titan in my opinion for the money.

Pics are a page or two in.
I appreciate the link. I ordered the 5100 package from TAP today.

I really don't care for the forward rake from the factory. I'm currently running one of PRG's spacers up front to level my front end. I'm planning on losing the spacer with the 5100s and I will probably put the front on the second perch for a 2" lift to level the "rake" out.

Any links to pics of the 5100s on the 2" setting?

I don't have any pics of the top perch setting, as I never set it there. With the PRO-4X on that setting from what I researched the ride could be to stiff and the you will most likely get coil bucket contact on the factory upper control arm at full suspension droop and/or when hitting bumps. Since TAP has sold a bunch of these 5100 packages, maybe send them an email or PM on here and get their opinion. The middle perch setting was exactly what I was looking for as far as lift goes, and that Bilsteins damping is spot on for the PRO-4X's spring rates in my opinion is has really sold them to me as far as a bolt on shock upgrade for these trucks.

2nd perch is 1" lift. it won't completely level the truck. You should've gone with the fox 2.0's and rear 2.0's. I have the front 2.5's and rear 2.0's and it rides nice. off road its 10000000 times better then the bilsteins. I also had blisteins all around before.
