i have a 07 4x4 CC and looking to get a PC lift and maybe some SAW's. my question is will i loose my warranty if i put either of these on. i've talk to some poeple and they said some dealerships will keep the warranty if they install it but i don't want to pay an arm and a leg to do so. if puting a PC lift on will void the warranty but putting just the SAW's won't i might go with the performance package from PRG and wait til my warranty ends to put the lift on. it sucks my wife finally gives me the go a head to do what ever i want on my truck. i'm just worried about stuff breaking. i do have full coverage on it so i guess if anything does break that the dealership see that the lift causes i could always use my insurance if it cheaper then the part that breaks.

It depends on the dealership man. I know one here that wont cover up but if you drive two minutes down the road there is one that will.

Legally they can't deny you warranty coverage just because you have aftermarket parts, it's called the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

Basically, it says:

An aftermarket part installed in place of a factory part will not be covered under the factory warranty.
Warranty coverage on a factory part cannot be denied simply because aftermarket parts are installed. The dealer/MFR is *required* to prove the aftermarket part caused the failure.

If you install a 6" lift and start breaking CV joints due to extreme joint angle then you can expect a confrontation and an unwillingness to fix the joints.

However, if your power windows stop working they obviously can't blame the lift on that and must honor the warranty.

They cannot, and there's no reason for them to, void the entire warranty due to installing a lift. Just be aware of potential issues if/when parts fail that could be attributed to the modifications.

I've had my PC lift installed for over 30k miles now and the dealer hasn't given me any flack. They've replaced both axle seals, and a front wheel bearing/hub assembly without issue.

thats good to hear. how good are PC when it comes to there stuff breaking?

I got a PC lift on my Titan, I've broken a Sway Bar End Link and the warranty did not cover it. The dealer basicly told me, anything that the lift kit puts stress on (Transmission Mounts, Driveline, Etc...) will not be covered. I also busted a front Differential also.

If you have the PC lift, then you have PC endlinks, which the dealer would never cover because it's not a Nissan part. Unless your talking about the PC level kit???
