Nissan dropped a few hints that they might up the off-road performance of the Titan soon.. maybe they will build the warrior..

Worth the wait??

I have been itching to buy a raptor for a few years now.. the new one looks amazing. I'm not a huge fan of the Ecoboost, but the numbers are very very impressive and the tech is top notch..

Either wait on Nissan to make something exciting or pull the trigger on a raptor that I would probably keep stock except for bumpers and a bed mount tire carrier..Ha

Thoughts?

get a raptor. you know the resale will be there.

They said they're gonna refresh the titan and make it look like the warrior styling. haven't heard them say they'll build.

Even if they come out with a "off road"titan it'll be nothing like a 10 speed twin turbo raptor.

Go with the Raptor. Nissan has had years to come up with a production answer to the Raptor and ... crickets.

It makes me chuckle... 10speed paddle shift v6 TT off-road truck!!! Wtf!! I've been a huge fan of Ford for many years, owned a few of them; f150, ranger, explorer.. all been reliable vehicles..

Now the dealership mark ups will be huge for awhile. I may keep me eye out for a 6.2 2014

Love the truck, but for $70k- I'll buy another house. Very content with my purchase of a new leftover 14' in 15' monster 2wd for total built investment of maybe $40k.
Now of course if I hit the lotto..I'd buy a fleet of raptors! lol

$70k and you could build your own off roader that would be better. I like the Raptors, but have always thought, for the money they cost, if you wanted a real off roader that you could build it better for less with aftermarket parts. And every Raptor I've seen are shopping mall queens and the only thing rough they ever see is a speed bump that the driver still slows down more than I do with my wife's MDX. I laugh when I see them swerve to avoid small pot holes.

I still think for $65k you wouldn't be able to build your own truck that blends the on road and off-road performance combined with the luxury features that a raptor does. It really is a performance bargain and look at the resale of them. Oh ya, factory warranty is pretty sweet too haha

Yeah, resale is awesome considering how many of them are for sale around me. Not to hard to pick one up for around $40k in the 50-60k mileage range. Even found one closer to $30k, a standard F150 holds it's value far better and people hang onto them. At least the older Raptors made my Titan look like a fuel efficient truck.

I'd still rather buy a decent used truck and build my own offroader. Because no way would I want to spend that much on something that if I use it how it's intended, it's going to scratched up at least, and what the hell would be the point in having a good offroad vehicle and not take it offroad?
