So, in my new-to-me 2006 Titan's efforts to display every known Titan issue (having already checked off trans cooler lines, power steering hose, rear diff, cracked manifold) I have know discovered water on my floorboards.

There seemed to be more water on the passenger's side, and if it was just there I would chalk it up to the A/C drain issue I've seen documented on TitanTalk. I was just running the A/C a lot at the end of last week.

However, I also found water on the driver's side floorboard, which the A/C drain should not affect.

I did drive through a high pressure car wash a few days before the water was noticed, so perhaps I have both the A/C issue AND some leak which got to the driver's side. Major pain.

There is an A/C condenser recall on the Titan - does that in any way affect the drain or is it for a separate issue/symptom?

Is the drain just a DIY fix?

I am going to get this Titan free of problems and the way I want it.

I'm confused - dried it out, no rain since then and I only ran the A/C for about 15 minutes (accidentally).

Both sides had water again under the rubber mats.

Can the A/C get to the driver's side? Or did I not dry it as fully as thought so water formed on bottom of rubber mat through evap/condense?

Kind of odd.

I have not tried the drain fix yet, so obviously I need to do that. Did I read the black box can actually get plugged? I thought I did but cant find it - or how to remedy.

Is it possible for the A/C issue to only manifest itself when driving? While parked, I confirmed that the drain was properly running out of the angled hard plastic drain coming off the firewall. It is dripping (running water, really, because its warm and humid) out of the end of the hard drain then falling on moulding inside the wheelwheel. At driving speed, could the water be forced back into the firewall somewhere and getting in? While parked it seemed fine - but I've seen water in the floorboards from something.

This is the exact same issue I am having. Were you able to find a solution? All is nice and dry during a heavy rain, until I start driving and then it all comes gushing through on the passenger side below the glove box.

Mine did the same thing. It was the a/c drain hose. There is a service bulletin on it. The hose leaks and can get the drivers side wet too. I had Nissan replace my carpet also after a #ell raising.
