I just bought a 2004 Nissan Titan and got some money to spend. The stock exhaust on it right now is okay but I'm looking into getting another one put on. Are there any suggestions on which types are louder etc. I don't know much so inform me.

-Thanks

The JBA catback exhaust is arguably the best cat-back exhaust for the price. You can get it for less then $400 shipped, and it is proven to perform VERY good on our trucks. The Banks is a bit more expensive, but sounds very good (its one of the louder exhausts) and has a very big following. Also, a great performing/sounding exhaust that you can do very cheap...get an 07+ stock Nissan Titan exhaust system and swap out the muffler for a Dual in/single out 18" or 22" Magnaflow muffler

if your just looking for something thats cheap with a good sound go with a flowmaster 40 series. if you want more of a performance based muffler go with a magnaflow. if you want performance and awesome sound go with the banks, but they are a little pricey. havent heard much about the JBA but i know quite a few people have them and i havent read anything bad about them.

Best: Nismo - $$$$

Loudest: Banks - $$$

Bang for your buck: JBA - $$

Cheapest: 07+ stock exhaust pipes & magnaflow (14", 18", 22", 24") muffler swap (or similar, e.g. borla, aerochamber, dynomax, etc.) - $

Click the link in my sig to hear the 07+ pipes and 18" MF

I'm a dual exhaust kinda guy, and on each of my Titans, I've gone to a muffler shop and had a set of custom duals made and installed. On each occasion, they replaced the stock muffler with a single in / dual out muffler, then built pipes with stainless tips that exited straight out the back, under the bumper. On one they used a Flowmaster 50 series ( a little louder than stock), and on the other they used a flowmaster 40 series (way louder than stock). I had both done for less than $500.

Spent 24-36 hrs research. Depends on what you want. Pure performance or Pure sound. SOUND.....Banks all the way.......Pure Performance.......JBA. Jba is a single exhaust with a great sound. Banks is just loud as hell. I tow a 24 ft Boat and did not want exhaust marks down both sides of the boat after long tows so I chose JBA mostly for performance and single exhaust. JBA arguably gives best all around performance for the money. I put mine on myself in about 3 hrs with an impact gun and compressor. JBA has a nice sound without the droan between 1700 & 2000 RPM during highway driving. Coupled my JBA with a AEM Brute Force CAI. When I mash it it sounds mean!!!:bangit:
