What I Did Today!!

First off, let me say I've been bitten by the mod bug again. I'm into the DIY mods. Aight, so here's the deal:

I bought these rims and tires during the summer of 2009. They're brushed aluminum Eagle Alloys off-road rims. Since buying them, we've had 2 of the worst winters in Georgia. The salt and weather messed 'em up BIGTIME. You can see how bad they were in the first picture.

I tried everything we have here, which is almost anything I ever need, and nothing worked. Then my dad came out, looked at how bad they were, and brought out the steel wool. 4.5 hours later, voila!! Sorry I didn't get more pics of the rims. I'll get 'em if y'all want 'em.

Secondly, I disconnected my sway bar because I flipped it off-roading. You can see the end-links in the third pic. I love the way the truck rides without it, and I swear my truck sits up higher now.

Looks good and I dont know if we are both crazy but it dose look a little higher.
The wheels turned out great…nice job!
Thanks man and I swear to you it looks like it. We'll never know because I didn't measure it before.
and they look nice... they have a big lip...

what shocks do u have?
Yea the lips right at 4". I still have the stock Ranchos on there, was gonna replace them but they're not leakin' or showin' any signs of excess wear and the truck still rides great
Awesome shine up job! It's amazing what steel wool cleans and shines up, and you would never notice scratches either... don't know how you gained height because the sway bar end links just attached to the LCA, now you'll have more drop (down travel) if you get the T bouncing or in the air... ;)

Preciate it!! Steel wool is m new hero. My dad says it in my head but my best friend that I worked with last summer saw it and asked if I lifted it more. He saw it when it seemed at it's lowest to me. And hey, I'd never have my Titan bouncing around...idk what you're talkin' about...
