Going to be going to a 6" pro comp soon. And I can get fuel rims at cost from a guy I know. I'm bad with offsets and backspacing etc. What should i get I don't want the tires to far out but not in the fender. And how wide of rim. Like 20x-10 -24? Also I have 290/60r20 Toyo at 2 xtremes with only one year on them are they going to look to narrow.. they are 34x 11.6..

Get you at 12 wide wheel. It will give just enough stance on a 6" to look good. Not enough and it'll look like it's on stilts like mine was before my wheel setup I put on.

Yours looks great but I don't want the tires out quite that far. Little less I guess

Everyone has a differnt taste. Here's a little help for when you decide. A 10" wide wheel will stick out about 1.5". A 12 wide will stick out about 2.5- 3".

The only thing I don't personally like about wheels that wide is the tire doesn't have any roundness to it. The sidewall is just straight up from the wheel.

I personally think a 10" wide on -24 would be a pretty decent stance. Stock backspacing is 5" so a 10" wide wheel with 0 offset is the same as stock.

-24mm on a 325 series tire and it'll look proportional without sticking out a sh1t ton. IMO a 10" will be great. Heck even a 9" will be fine. Mine are 9" but you can't tell once you throw a 13" wide tire on them.

this is a 325/60R18 on a 9" wide wheel with a +25mm offset but on 1.5" BORA spacer (I think that all means i'm at about -18mm offset) So a little wider wheel plus a little more offset and a 35" tire will look good with a 6" lift.

Thanks for the post guys. I'm thinking more 20x10 -24 just so it's out enough it won't look skinny and have a nice stance. You guys think my 34x11.6 will look stupid on that setup till there roasted

Thanks guys really appreciate it. After the lift and labour and wheels can't soak new tires when these are only a year old.

Yes! i think those were my 3rd choice of wheels! here's mine Fuel Hostage 20x10-24mm on 35's no spacers sitting on 8-9" of lift

and here's just for future reference as i didn't plan ahead about adding fender flares to the truck. if i would have known i would have went 20x12-44 and eliminate the need for current 2" spacers. here you can see my tires are sitting inside the fender flares ::crying::

adding 2" hub centric spacers

after:

and here she is sitting today!

glad you're looking forward to that 6" lift. you're truck will take on a new transformation from stock. i know the feeling! can't wait to see how it all turns out! if you have any questions...just ask!

Where did you get the tail lights on your black Titan? Those are sexy!

I built them awhile back. Open ebay led tail light up, painted them and I put a small led pod in them for reverse lights. Sealed them all up and painted around the perimeter of the lense to hide the sealant channel.

if you want stock height and wider stance. thats achievable but not with a bigger tire youll need some kind of level/lift

i went up a size from a 265/65r18 to a 275/70r18 which was a little bit bigger which filled in the wheel well nicely without rubbing. this was before my suspension lift.

If you don't want any rubbing or have to do any PWM trimming then get an 18x9 0 offset wheel with 275/70R18 tires.
