What are the differences between an '08 Titan and an '08.5 Titan?

One thing that I noticed is that you are forced to get some different packages together on the 08.5

If I go on Nissan's website and build an 08.5, I can no longer build it like mine without being forced to get different packages together.

That's about it. The dealer I talked to wasn't really sure either.

That's been before the 08 model I believe. But it's only package details and the addition of an overpriced, odd looking bed step option on the 8.5s.
