Well i wanted to know since for some reason my calipers aren't working right. Any ideas if i can fix or should i take to the stealership? When i drive my truck and run over rough terrain or bad road, my front brakes rattle i think its the pads, because My first set of brakes did this and didn't know what it was??? Then i change my brakes 2 weeks ago rotors, brake pads and the rattle stop. So i knew that it had to of been my pads because maybe they got loose in the caliper. Now after 2 weeks or so of installing them the rattle came back and also a chirp noise too? from the front brakes do you all think my calipers dont have enough pressure to pull the pads away from the rotors or something? Oh yea and do i still warranty on my calipers i have 42k on the Titan

The original brakes were covered under your basic warrenty of 36/36K, so sorry there. You said you replaced them with new ones, so the current ones are only covered by what ever warrenty is offered by the place you bought them.

usually brakes fall under the category that is not warrantied. if the components are found to be faulty and a recall is issued that's a different story

sounds good. i just hate how it rattles. i was like hell yea they dont rattle no more. then a week after again :ftard: well i take it in to the stealership to see what they got to say. and i but the original nissan brakes so dont shouldnt make it a big deal. thanks guys

yes i have the same prob i bet many titan owners might have this prob and they might think its something else

Some people say they resolved the rattle with new shims & clips (brake hardware kit). I use Hawk LTS pads with CRC Disc Brake Quiet on the backs and never get this noise. I tossed the oem shims the first time I changed the brakes and have never replaced them.

You can get raped by the dealer for part number D1080-A60001

Hope it includes new torque member bolts cuz it is $50 at courtesyparts.

Rock Auto has hardware kits, but the pics don't show shims. There is a centric kit on ebay, but only 04-07, and does not show shims.

You might try gooping the back of the pads and/or shims with the CRC stuff.
