Hey im new here and just to say whats up.Im gonna start postin here from now on since im so close to gettin my driver license since i turned 16(April 1st...hope they dont pull no bs on me).I have been deciding on a vehicle for the pass few months and decided to choose a Nissan Titan unless i hear something really horriable about it in the next week or two.So far the talk about the Titan is good :)
I just wanted to know whats the difference between the Nissan Titan XE King Cab 4X2 and Nissan Titan SE King Cab 4X2.I looked up the specs on autos.yahoo.com and didnt see any difference.
My second question is to know what colors you guys have...im choosing that dark shadow color that i saw in someone sig and its looks real neat.My other choice is prob the white

the diff betweent the xe and the se is the difference of crank up window(xe) and power windows(se). different wheels, sliding rear window, ya know what the list goes on and on. just go to: nissanusa.com and there is a compare option so you can compare. besides, you should be doing more research on your vehicles before you dump money into them or at least know what to budget for. i too was considering an XE and i personally felt the extra couple of thousand was worth it to me to get some of the bells and whistles, not all just some and ended up choosing the se. good luck!!!

Yes, there are a few changes between the two trucks as most have mentioned and as they referred you, the nissanusa.com site can explain them. Another difference not mentioned thus far is the chrome bumpers vice painted....

Welcome to the board! Good luck with your purchase. You must have some nice parents to pony up 25-30 grand for a truck for you!

There was some debate over the the Titan not being as easy to control under windy conditions, but it's not too bad. The handling is great. I can turn with one hand pretty easily. I'm still working on the parking though... I really can't think of anything off the top of my head that can be improved on this truck. It's a solid buy and well worth it. 100% Satisfation in me.

Good luck with yours.

is it running good hwahh??im gonna test drive mine soon after i get my driver license. If you ever drove the Tundra...does it drive as smooth as that?

I owned a 2001 Tundra Limited before buying the Titan SE. I really liked the interior and ride of the Toyota. The only problem I ran into was spilling my tea any time I hit a bump. I got really good at placing my hand over the cup.

Due to it's size the Tundra is easier to get in and out of traffic (and park). The brakes are substandard. The rear drums had to be adjusted every time I changed the oil. Sort of expensive.

I made the switch to the Titan due to the great brakes and impressive engine. The ride was an unexpected bonus.

Thanks for the info, I gotta check it out.

Ninja Scroll is tied with Fist of the North Star for my all-time favorite.

D#!m guys,

I had to wait 42 years to get my dream truck and my parents still didn't kick in a dime!

Be careful with the power. I about killed myself a couple times with my first big engine. (GMC Sierra with a 5 liter V8) (I think, it's been a while now)
