Hello everyone i have an 06 4wd titan and have a 6in rough country lift installed. I have the stock 17 rims with 285 70 17 terra graplers. I want to widen the stance up a bit. I was thinking 2in bora adapters in the front and 3in in the back. would that work?

Just my personal opinion, but wheel spacers and adapters frighten me..if you go this route just know the risks and make sure they are installed correctly - thread locker and torqued down! Wheel adapters longer than 1.5" put a lot of stress on your wheel bearings. I was in the same boat your were. Ran 2 inch adapters on stock wheels with a 6 inch lift for about 6 months. I noticed some odd tire screeching when I would hit bumps, tight corners, or at the bottom of a hill when the suspension would have a lot of load on them (G forces baby). As soon as I went to a new wheel with more negative offset/backspacing that went away.

You're running a barely 33x11" tire on a 6" lift, probably looks like you're on stilts. Up them to 35x12.5 and it'll give you a more balanced stance. I'd say go tires before spacers (I know it's a lot more expensive).

Like mentioned Lax just get the right offsets which eliminates the need for spacers. I went with 3" spacers due to the fender flares i installed made my 20x10 -24mm flush instead of sitting 2" past the fender. But i couldn't tell you for sure if the spacers caused my bearing to snap since there's alot of mixed opinions on that topic which i won't get into.

But i think for a 6" lift you gotta go with at least 35's! 33's are just too small and like Lax said it'll look like you're on stilts or just the overall look won't look right
