I would guess because they're WAY cheaper. I'm pretty sure there was a guy I saw in here a while back that had a Titan with 16" wheels, but they had to grind the calipers down as much as they could and it still rubbed a little. I believe it was some kind of race truck and their sponser gave them the wheels and tires.
