Just as a note....I have had my Titan for about 6 weeks now, I live in Ventura County, SoCal. I have not seen a Titan driving around. I see them on the lot at the dealers but just don't see them on the road. Anyone else notice this? I like having an unusual truck but was wondering if Nissan is doing less than expected?

Its probably because its nissans first full size and they are taking on a competition that is very brand loyal, regardless of how much better the titan performs. If you have ever met a diehard ford person they will fight you to the death on the subject of which is better and thier brands "Reliability" (hehehehehehe). If you check some of the other posts especally the one labeled "Sell me on the titan" you will see alot of people kept a open mind and test drove the BIG THREE and ended up doing what you did, bought a titan.
Nissan is also limiting first year production to 100,000 probably because they wanted to see how well it would do, but we all know now it will grow in popularity very fast. Hope it helps your question, or if not hope it didnt take too much out of your day. :)

Another note it might be geographic, the dealer on the east near my home is having a hard time keeping them on the lot. His last few shipments sold within a month. Hope he's got mine when i go to pick it up.

I live in MD and know the Mid-Atlantic dealers are selling Titans left and right. I've made several visits to 5 dealers in the DC Metro and have yet to see the same Titan on the lot longer than 2 weeks (unless there's one with an odd configuration).

I've had mine for 2 weeks now and still haven't seen another Titan on the road...which is fine by me. I like having all the Chevy, Ford and Dodge owners speeding up to get a look at my Titan.

Drove by a dealer yesterday in East Texas and they had at least 10 in stock although I didn't see any 4x4's and in my "neck of the woods" everybody wants 4x4's. That makes the Titan come off as a ladies truck here more than anything. No offense guys and gals just a Texas thing.

It is fun being different, driving something else and on the rare occasion at least for now, seeing another Titan owner drive by knowing he or she knows what I know. This is one awsome ride!!!!

I live in Owings Mills MD but I also stay in Northern VA, can you recommend a dealership? I went to a couple (Nationwide in Timonium, Westminster) and I was not impressed with the dealers at all--not where I wanna spend my service dollars.

MileOne in Silver Spring has a pretty good dealership. Service is supposed to be good as well as sales. The salesguys are friendly and knowledgable, but weren't overly willing to help me search for the one i wanted.

Frederick Nissan has a great salesguys. Haven't heard much about their service, but should be on par with most.

Rosenthal/Gaithersburg Nissan is kinda hit or miss. The service is good when you are able to get an appointment that doesn't conflict with normal human work hours, and if you're willing to leave it all day. My salesguy(s) Harpreet Singh and T. Anderson were great, but the Sales Manager is another story (not very personable or even nice for that matter).

I had significant dealings with two of the Brown's Nissan internet salesmen. They were both very willing to help and spent a lot of time searching for me. Unfortunately i didn't end up buying from them simply because i bought off a dealer lot unexpectedly. Otherwise one of them would have gotten my order.

My best advice is don't be afraid to search around and walk out on deals that don't work for your budget. Hope this helps.

Go talk to Bob Jagger at Frederick Nissan. They're a great family owned dealer who puts customer service first. I would have bought my Titan there, except I had a connection at Nationwide. Nationwide is full of dirt bags, that's for sure... :( They'll treat me right if they want to keep a decent inventory of Suzukis on their lot though. :jester:

Titans in Arizona

I looked in Sierra Vista and the dealer had one loaded machine that had the short bed and no tow package. He could find only 2 others in his search. A few weeks later Jim Click, a large dealer in Tucson, had 24 on his lot. By the time I got there to take a test drive, a lot of them were gone and they didn't have one I wanted. They looked around and found one in Prescott. By the time I got a deposit down, that was sold. They found another in Las Vegas, and that one is being trucked down here in exchange for the same model in another color. It is supposed to be here Thursday, but we will see when it arrives. I then have to take it to an RV dealer and have the hitch moved from my Dodge to the Titan. Jim Click moves a lot of vehicles, as several transporters a day unload on his lots. He handles Nissan, Dodge, Ford, Hundai, Honda and I don't know what else. Lots of Titan 4x4 which I didn't want, no matter that Texans think it is a Mommy Wagon or not. They get better mileage, they are easier to get into, and they look better to my eye. Different strokes for different folks, your mileage may vary. Al in Benson.

Hey Durocab...got the camo cap at http://courtesyparts.com...they have a good selection of Titan accessories and apparel...thanks for the good luck wishes...no, I'm going with the 4x2-I keep my truck parked at the hunting camp (our hunting camp is a farm house built in 1888; rustic front porch, wood stove, satellite TV  ). we hit the woods with the 4-wheelers and golf carts-the trucks stay clean :). In fact, most of my hunting buds kid me about hating to get my truck muddy...LOL :jester: I like the look of a muddy truck...as long as it's someone else's! :upsidedow

I am sure we have people from all over but wanted to offer my dealer if interested in a Titan. I am in a small town, but our dealership has a good selection of Titan’s. They have almost every color of king cab trucks and the last time I drove by they had two crew cabs. One was silver and the other red. If you are interested please let me know and I will give you the mangers name. He has been good to deal with. I am located in Farmington, NM. That is about three hours from Albuquerque, NM and 45 miles from Durango, Colorado. I am sure they would treat you right. So far I have been pleased.
