I need to replace my power steering pump and thought might as well replace the hose since im down there. I called the local hydraulic shop and they said they reuse the fittings and just replace the hose for $40. I wanna make sure everyones is just getting a hole in the hose right? The fittings should be ok to reuse.....???

My 2004 Titan has had a leak in the power steering since it was new, almost 12 years now. Just about a week ago the fluid level had dropped to the add mark for the first time so it has been a very slow leak. A couple of ounces of fluid bought it to the full mark. The leak was in the fitting shown in the attached image. In my opinion the fittings are the weak points in the Titan power steering.
