I can't find the stock remote wire, i have the Rockford Fosgate stock sound system, and out of all the diagrams I can't locate the remote wire. Any help is appreciated.

i can't read any of those diagrams for the life of me. I have read the stock remote wire is a violet color, but i just looked and I have like 3 violet wires to choose from.

I hooked mine up to a wire that is hot only then the ing was on......when the truck shuts of, then so does the amp.

Works like a charm.
And a good place to tap one is at the aux 12v outlet under the heater controls. The one on the right is only on with switch.

First, be aware that the AMP ON lead from the Fosgate system does not provide 12 volts DC, it is more like 6 to 8 volts - this may or may not turn on an aftermarket amp.

The actual wire is Green/White and is located on pin 12 of M44 (shown in the diagram provided above). M44 contains five wires, four are outputs for the rear channel, the remaining wire is the AMP ON wire.
