I bought a used 2005 Titan crew cab and am wondering which series it is as in SE, LE, or what? On the left side of the tailgate there is the "5.6" which indicates the engine and on the right side there is only "TITAN". I do not have leather interior so I think I can rule out the "LE" series. I took a photo of the VIN number to a local Nissan dealer to ask them and they told me that they do not have information for a Titan that old.

Use an online VIN decoder. Those work fairly well. Without seeing it. Hard to make a call.

They are right, vin is best path, but as you don’t have le se etc, it’s most likely an xe

NHTSB says it's an XE. A generic decoder says it's and SE. Either way is alright with me.
