I don't think there is an economy mode, but the BDGT has a "driving coach" so you can see where your sweet spot is for the best fuel mileage as you're driving...thanks guys... pardon my ignorance, but do any of the tuners have an "economy mode" for long trips?
Mine doesn't. I have the BullyDog Power Pup (I think the BullyDog GT replaced the power pup). I have 3 modes....stock, regular fuel (adds about 12HP) and premium fuel (adds about 23HP) modes. Along with the modes you have the ability to remove throttle restrictions and limiters, change timing and idle speeds. The 08+ does have the instant economy guage to be able to watch and keep your foot out of it but I've never been able to make it help! lolthanks guys... pardon my ignorance, but do any of the tuners have an "economy mode" for long trips?
Oh absolutely. I wasn't putting the UpRev down. But unless you're doing major mods or may do them in the future, the cheaper tuners will do just fine. There's no real personalization if you're just doing a CAI. The ability to fine tune is more for the headers and cams guy. Not everyone has the cash or the need for more than they'll use.Hudson, your right but why settle for a "canned tune" when you could have something "personalized" specific for you and your truck??
