Hey guys I am trying to figure out my squeak problem but I am not up to date on my mechanics lingo.. I have read some threads about a squeak problem but have not seen a solid solution yet.

My squeak sounds like metal on metal from both the front driver side and front passenger side. When I am driving with the window down it sounds like it is coming from the wheels.. The sound only happens when I am driving down the road, but doesnt have anything to do with acceleration because the sound is there when I hit the gas and when I dont. It also makes the sound no matter the size of the bump in the road. I recently replaced my brakes but braking doesnt add to the squeak in any way. I have been told it could be my bearings that need to be replaced because when the truck is up and you spin the tire you hear a clicking noise. Not sure if this is the cause or if there is a larger issue hiding

I love my Titan and its not even 4 years old yet! I have almost 70k miles on it but I cannot imagine something serious being the issue. Really looking forward to getting this resolved so I dont sound like a whores squeaky mattress..

Do you have aftermarket UCA?

Sounds like a bearing. Check your heat shields on the brakes. Make sure those aren't rubbing

what honda said. but for giggles I'd lube the rubber stoppers under the hood, the latch, and maybe the rubber front body mounts.

It's good to have your rubbers lubricated. LOL!

If you have the underseat storage bin the metal brackets that connect the bin to the seat frame can cause an unholy racket. I disconnected mine to finally eliminate the problem.

Well technically, it could be underwear storage, what you put in there is up to you.

Is it a 4x4? Clicking when the front wheels rotate is generally cv axles. If you turn really sharp do you hear clicking or popping? Or is it always just squeaking?

It's not 4x4 but I figured out the problem almost immediately after looking under the truck. My heat shield was missing 3 screws and making all that racket! Lubed everything just to be sure, but since adding the screws I haven't heard the noise.
