We recently purchased a 2019 Titan SV. We are unable to connect the truck to any wifi network. We have tried to connect to home, phone hotspot, and several other networks…all failed. We‘ve even reset the truck to factory setting…still no luck.
is that something we can do, hook the truck to wifi when we are at the house? is that for updates or something? i never tried anything like that on my 17 so i don't know if it can but this is the first i have read of people trying to hook their truck to wifi so hopefully someone who has, comes on and posts
I assume the feature is available because when we attempted to do a system and maps update the return message was unable to complete no wifi connection. Then it instructed to go to connections to setup wifi.
I hope someone has encounter the same issue and posts
Have you ever encountered an issue where the wifi failed to connect? Did you have to make any configuration changes to your network on settings within the truck to successfully connect to the wifi for updates?
Are the networks broadcasting? Seems I had an issue with hidden networks. I also think the network has to be 2.4ghz not 5. Drives me batty. I love speed.
that must be why i never have alexa and google connection issues, i have an old netgear being used as a 4 port behind a newer router so i could add some ports for odd ball things.
Issue resolved! I successfully connected the wifi to an older model phone Hotspot. The issue has to the newer model router settings.
Thank you all for your help!
