I found some newish 2016 OEM alloy wheels from a 2016 Titan with tires. I have a 2007 with the OEM alloy wheels and wanted to switch the wheels. I like the look better of the newer wheels, but the new rubber is also enticing because of the cost. Will these interchange without adaptors and such? They are both 6 x5.5 18" but I know the newer titans have larger brakes. Not sure if that is a concern of not.

It seems the offset is much different from our trucks. Ours is +25 offset. That means the XD wheels will be almost 5/8" closer to your truck frame/inside of wheelwell. Could be some rubbing on full lock. Not sure about the brake calipers actually fitting. :dunno:

Owner's manual section 10 page 5:

Nooooooooope! I bought my '04 almost a year ago, and my stipulation with buying the truck was that the dealership had to swap out the tires and rims. Luckily (or so I thought) they had some of the brand new dark chrome 20" rims off an XD. They look sweet! But several months later, I had my rear driver side wheel come off, shearing several of the lugs off with it. Turns out, the tire shop that installed them used tapered lug nuts, instead of the washer style that all stock Nissan rims require, reaming out the locating surface of the wheels. Also come to find out, the new XDs have a slightly larger hub, so even with the correct lug nuts, they won't work as-is.

Long story short, you might be able to make them work with a custom hub ring, as well as a small spacer up front to clear the calipers, but that's a lot of effort for them. I recommend just finding other rims.

The XD uses 14mmx15 lugs and ~6" backspacing with mag seat lugs. Your 1st gen uses 12mmx1.25 lugs and ~5.25" backspacing with tapered seat. both have the same 77.77mm Center bore and 6x5.5 bolt pattern.

You can get wheel adapters (12mmx1.25 to 14mmx1.5 approx 1.25" thick) and it will allow them to fit with no real issues.
