ok so i had my tint replaced at the dealer when i had the oil changed last. i had it replaced cause of the scratched is the tint and i was expecting for them to replace the seals as well. wouldnt you know 3500 miles later the tint looks like $hit again. what do i do???? this is the 3rd time i have had the dealer replace the tint cause of the scratching and im over it. is there any type of felt or something that can be installed to prevent the scratching? thanks, derek

My 04 looked bad fast with scratches, I had it redone once. My 07 has different seals and I haven't had a lick of trouble with them. You might want to see if you can get new seals, my 07 has felt v.s. the plastic in my old 04.

The dealers usually use crap for tint. Find a shop with a good reputation redo the tint with Madeco or better. I had a shop strip the dealer tint off mine after I got sick of looking at it at the first few days I after I bought it. They dealer kept commenting on how good the tint looks until I told them the crap from the detail shop was pealed several weeks ago.

I never even thought about taking it back to the dealer for that. I have the same issues. I have a few scratches in all of the windows and its getting old looking at it all the time.

It's not the tint, it's the gasket and the rollers.

The gasket scratches and the rollers make a huge ident line near the front of the window.

I love it how people yell "it's bad tint, get x pos crappy brand instead". doesn't work like that. we know what is causing it on the titan and any tint will be the same after some roll ups.
