whats percentage of tint is it legal here to have on the passenger and driver side front windows? i tried getting my inspection done but that is the only thing failing me. the company that applied it said they were only 18%

The tint applied is only 18%, but that gets added to the tint of the factory windows, which throws you over the limit. I can't remember what the tint of the glass alone is, but someone on here will know.

I know laws may vary state to state, but the guy that inspects my truck said that the darkness of the tint is no longer the responsibility of the inspector. The vehicle could be passed but as soon as you leave the parking lot, you could be pulled over and fined.

In Virginia it is 50% on the front two windows. Just a little FYI!
