Hello, I'm the new kid on the block. I currently drive a 91 Se-R. I am shopping for something else, and I am looking at the titan among others.

I would just like some of your opinions on them. How reliable they are? Is it big without being toooooooooo big, i.e. an Excursion? Any words of wisdom you have would be appriciated. Any common problems you have seen? Maybe the biggest problem you have had. I did see the break recall, but other than that anything?

This won't be a work truck, I won't be towing anything bigger than a uhaul or a race car trailer.

I am kinda sick of having a small car. So that is why I am looking at trucks and suv's. Thanks

I bought an 08 Titan (first one, was looking hard at the F150) and let me tell you that I have had a big grin on my face everytime i look or drive it.

I have a 2004 and love it.

Yes, I've had a few issues with it but I expected it.

I recommend that regardless of whatever truck you purchase, you first check out their technical service bulletins to see if you are willing to potentially deal with any of those issues. All vehicles have them.

I also recommend that you shop around and compare options for options.

For me, the Titan was new, had all the items I wanted in a truck and at a price I thought was reasonable. I'm a Ford guy before and owned a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder so I wanted to see if the Titan would be what I hoped it would be. It is.
