I purchased my 12 pro4x like 6 months ago, but i keep my autotrader app going and wow its crazy to see how inexpensive you can get a good 1st gen for.

Whos jumping on 1st gens. im super happy with my purchase. I paid 22k for a 2012 pro4x with every option available and it had 81k miles on it, one owner car fax. I was hell bent on getting every option....nav, sunroof and overhead dvd for kids in the back, and that trio is hard to find. i was so tempted to just get a plain pro4x because honestly i wanted cloth and hate leather in texas but im happy with my purchase. at the time it seemed like 24 to 25 was the going price for what i was looking for with similar mileage...

thanks,
-J

You can always expect a drop in price when a new body style comes out, especially on a 14 year old body style.

I snagged one up. My wish list was big tow, utility package, Rockford Fosgate, no chrome in dark grey or white. I found an 2011 SV in Texas with 75k for $17k. It's not mint. It's got some dents and dings but I use it and I love it.

I was so close to do this too...saving that much money on a 2wd is great....im glad i got what i did because i did get it for a little less than what was the norm at the time.

oh of course...it seems crazy worth it for the price they are selling for now. the known reliability and easy to fix all the known issues makes it a great buy for someone to get a good truck.

Ive been looking around at prices as well. They are starting to come on down. But im waiting until next year to get mine. My wish list is simple. 4x4 cloth interior crew cab. Im going to be aiming for a 12 up. Ive seen a few good deals tho already on some 16s and especially on 15s. Seen one that would be perfect except its a kingcab with only 526 miles on it for around 25k right now. So can only imagine how prices will be next year.

I got my 06 SE with leather, Rockford phosgate, and a slew of aftermarket adds with 131k for 9000. I paid up for mine but that low mileage and truck was practically mint. Drive mine everyday.

Man trying to find a 13-15 Pro4X Crew cab with low miles is stupid around where I am. Still charging 30k+.

We found a 2006 crew cab SE with 106K for $11K at a local Dodge dealer back in June...Rockford Fosgate system is very good, especially for something factory installed. It has the typical Titan rash--the roof and hood clearcoat issues, but aside from that it is in great shape. The kids love the power rear slider, lol....took it to Florida early in July for vacation. Found out on the way back that the radiator has a small leak in it but easy fix. It was a one owner truck and no accidents....we even have all service records on it. A blast to drive, my wife even loves driving it. I'm hooked now....we need to replace other vehicles in the next year and I've already been scoping out the newer ones...next time around, I want a sunroof lol

Why 13+ ? Search farther and drive it home....

Specifically want the updated stuff they did. My 2008 outperforms any of the first gen trucks stock so really the only reason I would upgrade is for the extra cabin room. As of right now I have to cram a car seat in the middle of the back row and it extends halfway over the center console.

Got my 14 Pro CC at around 23k and the mileage at 30000 was quite reasonable at the time. Still looking to find a second for one of the kids but have to be able to finance and keep up to date. Reliability is what I got from the cars and Frontiers that started me on them. First 'full size' since my dads 67 F100.
