It won't take too long for you to find a used pair of DT LTs here on this site. I bought mine here for less than half price. And a little surface rust doesn't matter if you're going to powder coat. The baking and sandblasting gets rid of it NP.
If you don't hear anything for a few days, just keep bumping your thread once a week or so.

Good luck!

What gains did the headers give you ?

They're not on yet - still getting a powdercoat. But with the Uprev combo, I'm expecting a ginormous butt-dyno gain.

When will it all come together ?, will you do a before and after the fact test ??

How much was the uprev ?

The install will happen this coming week at a local Meineke shop. Uprev is $500 ($700 if you want to tune yourself, the $500 version comes with 3 custom tunes from Uprev)

I doubt I'll be able to do a before run, since my truck is in limp mode due to the catastrophically bad e manifolds and cats.
Nick, I sent you a PM.

The DT long tubes give 24hp and 43ftlbs at the rear wheels.

I know because i have my dyno sheet to prove it. I have the very first set of production headers from them on my truck right now and they used my truck to build them off of.. call my truck the header whore if youd like lol

I dont know what you had in mind as to how much you wanna buy them for but for the right price i would sell...

Are they legal in CA ? What condition are they in ??

any idea How much to get them installed for on a 2006 4x4 cc

I really wanted/needed the control arms first, but it might work

Not strictly legal in CA, but there are workarounds.

Install ranges from $400 to $800, give or take, and depending on where you go.

How do you work around, i am a little confused, do you take them off smog time and then re-install them ??
I'm no expert, being as I live in TX. But there are ways to clear the codes with spark plug defoulers.

And doug Thorley's website does say:

Q: Are your headers smog legal?
A2: Yes!!! All of our headers are smog legal in all 50 states. The EO or carb number is welded on each header.

But I'd look into it further.
So I gotta ask, why sell the TC UCA's just to turn around and buy PRG UCA's?
Im sure in DT's fine print it states that the long tubes are for race and off-road use only.

The headers all have the E.O. plate welded to them but they do not have a full E.O number on them which makes them "illegal"

Im running the long tubes and have the P0420 and P0430 codes (bank 1 catalyst and bank 2 catalyst) because of the lack of cats. I dont mind as i do not have to go through any emissions testing where i live. One of the perks of moving out of california was getting away from all of that.

I know some people in SoCal that will pass you for some extra coin but they risk their license and everything if they do so its generally a friend only thing.

Install is about 6hrs of work which in a shop is about $550. It requires you to remove the motor mount bolts and life the engine off the cradle to squeeze the headers through the bottom of the truck.

I am trying to complete a 4 inch lift on my 4x4. I have bought a set of icon coilovers which will need to be hat flipped and then backed off the pre-load, and if you do this with a set of TC UCAs you get coil bucket contact due to the size of the arms and something to do with the hat flipping. With PRG UCAs this does not happen. As i am buying the parts to complete the project when they come available i did not know this until i purchased the TC set. Once i found out there was no point in keeping them (or installing them) so i sold them on at a loss.

hence looking for the correct set of UCA
