There are tons for sale on Craigslist in Dallas, that's where I bought my spare for next to nothing. As a matter of fact there is a listing where they are parting two right now. One guy up there usually sells them cheap. You can also get a transmission for about $600 as well. A guy posted selling one with 34K in Allen, TX for $1500 on the 11th, seems like a good price to me.
