I was crawling under my truck for something and when I looked up towards the front of the truck the driver drop bracket is missing bolts! There's only one there where the other side has 3! What gives? I bought this truck used it came lifted already. Is this a simple fix where I order the bolts from procomp or is there something wrong? Is this a safety issue?

Would any bolts do? Like same grade? Just take one of from the other side and go to a hardware store and match them? Or should I go to procomp directly? And if you look closely at the side missing bolts it's alcrooked like the holes don't even line even though there's a bolt there. Hopefully it's not bent or s#!+ and ir just needs to the bolts to hold it in place. I don't even know how long I've driven with it like that never really payed attention. I even drove to Vegas and back on new years!

It looks like it might have been fabbed incorrectly and they just went "Oh well, let's bolt it up!". It doesn't look at all like the other side.

make sure the holes line up. go to the hardware store and get the right size bolts, probably grade 8.

Remain calm, its not out of the ordinary. My bracket lift left some holes unfilled and not aligned when mating to stock components as well.

RC Bracket lift..
Damn so I'm not the only one? So is this not a problem? It's not a safety issues when the bold will break cause that one has all the tension while the other side is spread out to three? I don't even know if I could align the holes I wouldn't know how
Too.. my bracket doesn't look crooked or anything. You installed your lift redrum?

I don't how I would try and see if the line up? I mean if I jack it up I think it's just gunna jack up the truck.

Now that I think about it, Ive asked in one of my other posts that I get a clunk everytime I back out of my driveway when it's been sitting overnight. When backing out of parking spots it's like 50% percent of them and sometimes when turn the wheels. Could the missing bolts be causin play some where causing the clunk?

Now that I think about it I only feel the clunk on the driver side. I can feel it through the floor.

Bump bump should I let it be since it's happened to other people or see if I can align the holes?

Not to be a condescending a-hole, but if you should at least try to get some grade 8 bolts and fix it. I don't know if you'll be able to line the holes up, but common sense should tell you if there are 3 on one side, there should be more than one on the other. If you get into an accident and your lift installed incorrectly, your insurance co. Could tell you to go fly a kite on repairs. I've seen them try everything in the book to get out of paying. Most of all you should try to fix it because it would be safer. If something is bent, it may be a good time to look into fixing it because eventually it will ware parts faster.

how about download the install manual on the lift from the companies web site and see what was supposed to be there. Then you`ll "know" what to do...
Now theres an idea.. thanks dude ! I downloaded and it turns out nothing goes there I don't know why. Here's a pic of the install picture for other people to see and know. All night last night I was thinking people aren't getting it, the bolts don't line up horizontally not vertically. How the hell was I gunna try and Jack or pull the frame horizontally.

Wish I knew how to weld! I've been debating taking a course somewhere to learn. Still pretty weird that it's supposed to be like that.. but if you welded your bracket lift is on there permanently unless you start hackin your actual frame.

Nah, you can always grind off a weld. It's not that hard.

Just buy a welder, watch some videos online and play around with scrap metal. I like my Lincoln wire-feed MIG welder, it is not near as quick as some welders out there, but it is effective and works well with up to 1/4" steel. Says it can do 1/2" but I've never tried that thick.
