First impressions are crucial. And in my opinion Hypertech could have had a better showing.
Like I said I'm just making an observation and stating facts. We all know that any programmer that doesn't offer the abilty to remove the WOT restriction would not have a good showing since everything will be compared to Uprev. The fact that they stepped up and got it figured out shows me a lot about their new sales and engineering staff.
Kuddo's to Hypertech for the product improvements, but the WOT issue should have been addressed six weeks ago as well at 07 support. I'm sure that when people saw that Uprev/BD removed the WOT restriction and both support 05-07's and Hypertech didn't and also didn't at launch raised a few concerns.
And I'm just as concerned as everyone else when it comes to people not being able to download the latest software version or not being able to load the tunes. What have you done to help anyone else out? I've done dyno and track testing out of my own pocket. Chris let us use his cipher software to verify the WOT voltage. I've helped out plenty of people that were stuck with a truck what would not turn over. I get pm's all the time about the power pup. I'm not a BD employee and I don't get paid for my time helping others. I do this because I don't mind helping people out and I'm surrounded by racetracks and dynos.
EDIT: I did ask for one 20oz lo-carb monster when I helped one guy avoid a tow bill to the dealership. Just joking though.
