You tube propaganda! (Tundra, Ford F150, Chevy, Titan, Dodge)

I found these videos the most interesting and/or the most obviously bias of the truck videos on youtube (that is on the topic of comparing new trucks). I’m looking forward to the Toyota owners defending the bed bounce videos…

Shows the Tundra as very unstable compared to GMC

Shows the Tundra has no traction control compared to GMC

Shows major frame flex in the Tundra compared to the F150

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zShwG9l1F0Q Better quality no commentary.
Shows bed bounce between the Chevy, Tundra and Ford. (Tundra comes out the worst)

Another bed test. And this time the Dodge and Titan are included YEA… (Tundra looks real bad!)

Bed bolts between F150 and Tundra. Laughably unscientific

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdABRH9EsSw
Tow Hooks, Tundra vs F150. SNORE ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zGWIJHvp2Q
Shows a Titan owning a Superduty on the dunes
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDX_VQA22jo
Part II: Shows the same Titan explode his front diff :(. Dumb *** flooring it in reverse in the dunes. But I feel I must post at least one negative Titan video…

Pathetic attempt to make the Tundra sound awesome. “this is a boxed piece of steel that is THAT FAT! I don’t know how many inches that is? 8” inches or so?” How bout you find the tape measure you JUST had! And how thick is the metal? you tool!

Ok So what did we learn from our video lesson?
The F150 is superior to every other truck in the universe! (or Ford owns stock in Utube).
The Titan and the Dodge are rarely even mentioned in these supposedly “official” tuck testing videos (lets just ignore our competition and they might just go away).

Hope you enjoyed our lesson!

What lesson?

The second time today I've seen reference to this PHONEY bed bounce video.

It's RIGGED!

Get out your Torx driver, loosen a few bed bolts..see what happens.

Notice when the Ford goes over the same bumps, the video switches from the rear to a 3/4 view of the left front of the truck!

What does that tell you?
I have wondered why we dont see Titans in these comparison videos. It looks pretty apparent though that the guys in these videos work for Ford and Toyota.

You want to see rigged? Well here you go.

Sorry if you guys couldn’t tell my sarcasm in the “what did we learn” part of the post. I will be highly offended if anyone really thought I believed these videos were fair and bias… Thou I got to admit the bed bounce video is pretty convincing :)

Just about every video with the titan, it wins. Besides the one I remember seeing where it goes against a Ram 3500 diesel dully(thats 4 rear tires).

Ford will only show other vehicles faults that are in Ford's favor. Anything portion of a test that compares well is omitted from comparison.

I'd bet the Tundra bed does bounce quite a bit without loosening those bolts. The frame is strengthened up front, double channel in the middle, single channel in back. Kind of like a fast action fishing rod, stout on the bottom, whip on the end.

While this isn't bed bounce, this is a video of the freeway vibration that Tundra owners have complained of:

I know for a fact them toyotas bounce friend had one that bounced real bad in the back was downright scary lol.

This video is soooo stupid. It shows how much better the TITAN was controlling those bumps compared to the F-150. Once the TITAN got to the bigger stuff....then the axle started to get some air. But with the F-150....they didn't even show it getting to the big stuff....they cut out. RETARDED....Yes....ITs built Ford tough....but thats not as tough as Nissan tough...not being ignorant...thats gay that they cut the last part out.

At least one Tundra owner reported dangerous controlability problems due to chassis flex when hauling a relatively heavy trailer (though within the tow rating).
That Tundra is ridiculous! The fuel door kept opening and the bed was worse than it is now.

haha, how true. Also, did anyone notice that the Ford is in slow motion? They don't actually show it going at full speed through THEIR own test, pathetic. Like you said, they don't even show the ford going into the big stuff. What a bunch of horse****...:fu: FORD!
they need to do that test at motorweek or some other place that is now bias. Every manufacturer is going to make thier product look superior to the competition whenever they can. Heck I bet that if Ford took its frame and the Titan frame and did tortion tests they would probabally cut the Titan frame in key points to make it flex... But we all know what we see on tv is real right :upsidedow
Lesson is only watch my videos about the Titan :p
