Thanks to everyone for investing your time with my situation. I think Cleont had a good idea to video tape it, so everyone can see how bad it is. I am getting a 50/50 response on the bed should shake and the bed should not. I have been told if the bed is frame mounted, you should not see movement like I am experiencing. I have noticed lately it seems like it is more pronounced in the left corner, the right seems more solid. Therefore, it seems like it could be a shock or something of that nature. The Nissan dealer said they checked the bolts and everything checks out. To give you more input, it seems like the bed is missing a couple of bolts. I called Nissan Corp this morning and my truck hasn't even been registered yet to file a complaint. He said I would have to call back in 24 hours. I seriously appreciate everyone's time.
People here are confusing chasis flex with a loose bed. No, the bed should NOT be moving independant of the frame. And enough normal chassis flex to visually notice?...doubtful. I count at least 6 bed mounting bolts on my LWB and it would have to move a whole helluva lot for you to notice. And yours is going up and down and side to side? No way is that normal.

Thanks for that video! Unfortunately, I have not been over rough terrain like that. If I was to compare my Titan with one of those trucks going over light terrain, it would look like the Chevy. When I go over a speed bump, it looks like the Tundra. Do you think Nissan had fun with my truck and put it on a Tundra frame? :)

900King,

If the bed to frame bolts are actually stripped, it may be hard to tell by putting a wrench on them and checking for tightness. The only way to tell for sure is to loosen each bolt one by one and checking the threads. The part they thread into may be stripped as well. I've found the bolts/nuts used on most Japanese vehicles seem to be made out of a softer alloy material than the older domestic stuff. If you've ever owned an older domestic vehicle and worked on them, you'd know what I mean. The newer domestic stuff seems to be the same as the import stuff nowadays.

As for wondering if your Titan has a Tundra frame under it, you never know. Maybe some disgruntled Tundra owner fed up with his bouncing bed and floppy tailgate came over to your house one late night and switched the frames with your truck. Those Tundra owners can be a pretty resourceful bunch when they put their minds to it.LOL!
