Place: Hungry Valley (30 mins near good ole Majic mountain)
Terrain: 2wd friendly
Date: Saturday March 15, 2008
Meet time and place: 10:00am, Still no meeting of the minds of the meet place(will have one soon)

Hungry Valley is the second largest unit of California State Park's Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division. Located in the Tejon Pass north of Los Angeles and along the Interstate 5 corridor, Hungry Valley offers 19,000 acres and over 130 miles of scenic trails for motorcycle, All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV), dune buggies, and 4x4 recreation. All levels of Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) operator skills will be challenged by the wide variety of terrain and trails at Hungry Valley SVRA.

I would suggest EVERYONE come into the park from the NORTH (Gorman) entrance. There is a Carl's Jr there as well as a Chevron gas station. Top off before you come inside, belly and gas.
When you exit the 5 @ Gorman, make a left and you will see the food and gas.
The street will dead end into another "street" called Peace Valley Road, make a right.
You will be on this road for a few miles until you see the SVRA entrance on your left (Gold Hill Road).
Make a left there and head into the park.
There will be a ranger station about a mile or so in from there. Make sure you pay your fees if you are planning to camp. I think it's still $10.
After you pass through the ranger station, follow Gold Hill Road all the way in until you hit Hungry Valley Road.
Make a left there, you will pass Smith Forks campground and the mini track, and the next campground on your right will be "Aliklik" campground. I will be waiting in there, so wake me up! I chose this spot because it's right next to the 4WD practice area.
CORRECTION: I will be leaving @ 5 or 6 AM on Saturday morning.
