My SE wheels have large brown stains that done come off with soap and water. Can someone recommend a good cleaner? Can these be 'waxed' to protect them and allow easier future dirt removal?

Adam's has a cleaner called All Purporse Cleaner.

Here is a description on the APC..

Adam's Professional Strength All-Purpose Cleaner is a heavy-duty, lemon-scented spray that's effective at removing brake dust, cleaning engines, cutting grease, and cleaning buffing and applicator pads.

After cleaning you can apply wax if you want to.

I generally use Westleys Bleach white on the tires and wheels, but spray on, wait 2 minutes and use a detailing sponge to clean the wheel. then hose off ASAP. You can also use Meguires Fine Cut Cleaner or medium Cut cleaner, but don't rub hard with the medium, its abrasive, but works. do this to the insides of the wheels, then wax them with wheel wax. it holds up to brake dust better and easy to wipe off. You can also use Clay bar or even the Stoners tarminex. that works excellent on tar and bugs.

Email me for more suggestions, I detail vehicles on the side, so I know some tricks. I use alot of Griot's stuff. I love the products.
