New Titan Owner here!

Hey guys. I have been researching trucks for awhile now and finally got what I was looking for. An 04' Titan SE CC 2wd in GREAT shape. It has the power tower, and the gibson exhaust already on it, and I was planning on making some upgrades gradually... First one I am planning on making is a leveling kit. Any suggestion on what size inch wise would be good as well as brand?

Can't help on the leveling kit question but welcome to TT!!! Lots of people will chime in on your question tho. I am sure most will suggest the PRG kit.

Well there were some complications with my username AR-Titan, it was showing me as someone else named AR Titan... So I had to change to the new TitanRazorback.

On your 2WD, you can put a 2.5" spacer on it without any real concerns. If you tow at all, or even think you might, make sure your truck has the Big Tow package. If it doesn't, hold out for one that does. You'll really regret it if you don't.

I wasn't really sure what it was either until I read about it on this website: Helix Power Tower Plus - Throttle Body Spacer

Bought it from a dealership and the previous owner put it on... From the text it sounds pretty good, but it has a slight whistling sound when you are accelerating.

That whistle is about all that those spacers are proven to be good for. :lol:

Yeah I haven't really tested the "better gas mileage" claim, guess I will have to do that soon. In your opinion, is it even worth having?

No but since its there, it wont hurt anything, dont worry about it

Just for future reference, is it an easy-on, easy-off part? I might get tired of that whistle pretty quick if I know its not really doing much performance wise...

yea its pretty easy, havent done it before, but i figure all you do is remove the intake tube by the spacer, unbolt/unscrew the spacer and then just reconnect the intake tube to the actual throttle body
