Im venting!

So I'm coming home from work tonight and I come upon a certain intersection that I hate to get stuck at. It's one of those only 1 way goes at at time. So if you miss your light, you now have to wait for 3 other ways to go, and each way has a loooong green. I'm coming around the bend and see that I got a green light and I speed up from 45 to about 51 to make sure I get through this pain of a light. Then theres a guy waiting to turn right to go my direction, and I see him nudging forward and I figure there's no way in he!! that he's going to go and cut me off horribly.

Now I usually mind my own business on the road and hardly ever use the horn, but this dbag bolted right out in front of me and I was pissed! I just lay into him with the horn, and my music was up so loud I couldnt even hear my horn. So I stayed on the horn for a solid 15 seconds. That doesn't seem like a long time, but it is when you're blaring the horn. Then the dbag gets into the left lane and starts to slow down. Sure enough the passenger puts down his window and gave me the finger...That's what reallly got to me. The idiot cuts me off and then gives ME the finger. Luckily before things escalated, my turn came up and we parted ways. I wish I woulda been more prepared to get the finger because I have this sweet million candle power flashlight that I woulda shined right into the passengers eyes and blinded him. Plus it's bright enough to 2nd as a police spotlight which hopefully woulda tripped them out a bit.

Luckily I have titantalk to post this up and vent out all my anger on situations like this. Maybe you guys can post up some of your stupid driver stories as well.

Much safer to vent on a Forum than to let an idiot driver provoke you into a confrontation that you can avoid.

However it would be even more fun to install an LRAD on the front of your truck wouldn't it? :bump:

Reminds of the time I was on US 231 heading back home from lunch with my dad, before I got the Titan, and some idiot pulls out in from of me. He pulled onto the highway less than 100 yards between us. I was going 65 in an Expedition in the rain. If there had been a car in the left lane I would have plowed right into his POS old Explorer because the heavy rain wouldn't have allowed me to stop in time.

Or you could just take your foot off the gas and realize that people are idiots? IMO, it aint worth the time required to get into the he said/she said, he did/she did horsecrap because it just raises your blood pressure.

Agreed, but I was already a little cranky from workin all day, and there are always those times that you just get mad. It really isn't worth the time to deal with it at all, but once outta the 5000 times it happens, enough is enough.

i feel your frustration..

i was approaching my exit rather spiritedly a few days ago when i saw a beater work van about to enter the freeway. where he entered and where i had to exit merge together and form 2 lanes of exit; he would need to merge to my outter exit lane to stay on the freeway. i know this. so i slowed down out of courtesy to let him on and not have to wait til i got out the effin way. so i slowed down to let him in. i waited... and i waited... and waited but he never changed lanes. so i figured maybe he wants to exit too so i get back on the gas cuz he was pretty much crawling at that point. as i start to go he then decides to cut me off in slow motion. W..T..F!?
so i'm behind him on his *** still, but not on purpose. the guy is slowing down. so i had had enough and decided to get in the inner exit lane to go around him. as i move over i see a hand come out of the passenger side window w/ a white styrofoam cup. then i see the cup tilt and a liquid splash all over the front of my truck :huh::huh::huh::huh::huh:
stunned i sped up to see wtf was his problem and because i'm naive and tend to naturally give people the benefit of the doubt, i thought maybe it was an accident

and wanted to let him know I'M BEHIND YOU A-HOLE! as i get to the window these 2 dudes w/ one cup (snicker) are staring at me like I was the offender and were snarling at ME...:fu:
in hindsight i should have gotten their plates at the very least, especially since at the time i didn't know that it was just water that they threw on me. i was PISSED :flame:
yet another occasion when i wish i had a train horn...

The passenger flipped you off? That's funny, that person was not even driving. The spotlight would have rocked and definitely worked. After you blind them, you can sucker punch them and then take off. Lol...

We all have our days on the road when someone just pushes the buttons. Some more often than not. I've done the same thing. I do however, want to upgrade my horn to sound more like a train or something.
