K I got the headers installed last night and they are awesome. Hands down best mod i''ve done.

SOTP feel is way better all thru the power band.

Anyway here are the pics.

I bolted the headers onto factory b-pipes with my exhaust mods below in sig.

Enjoy and ask questions!

4hrs or so at my buddies shop, the hardest part was getting the stock manifold heat shields out for some reason.

You def have to raise the engine 2 or so inches, once the engine mounts are removed from the block and frame.

Once the engine is lifted everything is pretty straight forward.

Getting to the nuts on the studs for the manifolds is a PITA if you don't have extensions, swivels etc... you really need those and an impact gun to make things go faster.

The only thing that i can say is just make sure you can get a good grip on the nuts when tightening down the headers and be careful if you have to remove the studs themselves, bring beer and cigs if you got em lol.:bangit:

I will get some fly by, in truck and revving vids from the outside soon...

Did you throw any codes after the install??

do you have to undo your engine mounts to do this or can it be done with out?

yes you do have to undo the engine mounts, then support the engine with a jack and lift it about 2 inches to get the headers to slide off the studs with out getting hung-up on the frame and mounts.

truck sounds good, let us know how they perform for you. i love mine and all the new found torque i got, you will too

I threw a bank 1 02 sensor code because the factory 02 sensor on the drivers side manifold wouldn't come out, we tried to break it lose but it wouldn't budge.

So we put in a different o2 sensor out of another vehicle for the time being and left it unplugged.

This is the 02 sensor on the header itself not the rear 02s.

Truck is just in open loop mode but still runs great and drives perfect, no real loss of gas mileage either.

I'm getting a new 02 sensor this week and get that put in and retighten the header bolts to make sure they don't back off after heatup/cool down cycles.

as far as the heat shields you shouldn't have to cut them out... but i will tell you the screws/bolts they use to bolt the shields on are very crappy metal and the heads will break off.
