Nothing exciting but I need a hitch. I've been looking around. Anybody know of a hitch with a built in wiring harness? Hidden hitch looks nice but the external wiring harness looks out of place. Any ideas? Thanks

The factory class 4 hitch has everything you need. Don't forget the relays you will need.

Uhaul has a similar set up and if I am not mistaken they have a lifetime warranty if they do the install.

Im looking to get a hitch sometime in the near future as well, and from what I have researched (on this forum) so far, U-Haul carries a good hitch and they have wiring and relays you'll need. I believe someone stated that the relays can only be bought from the dealership but others say U-Haul carries relays that will work as well, and of course cheaper than what you will pay at the dealership. Some confirmation from someone that bought a U-Haul hitch with wiring and relays would be awesome.

OEM Hitch is only $235 and plugs right up. Then I'd check on the relays and compare to U-haul if needed.
The Nissan hitch kit includes the relays and the 7-way plug, nothing else to buy.

I'd stay with a Class IV. Claas III belongs on a 1/4-ton IMHO. My F150 has a Class III and it's not good for much anything other than a ski boat or u-haul trailer. People are shocked when I tell them the Armada tows alot more weight and better than the pickup truck does.

Does Nissan sell a class 4 because I'll I saw was the class 3? I'm pretty sure the only thing I will tow is a ski boat or some dirt bikes. Not into pulling RVs or anything real big. So if not I might just go with the class 3 OEM. Again thanks for all the help.

If you want to check this one out I'm pretty sure it's a class IV hitch. This site actually belongs to the dealer I use here in Poway.

Nissan Parts Cheap

Nissan only sells 1 kind of Hitch Receiver for the Titan. It is sometimes listed as Class 3, other times Class 4. It is the same Hitch Receiver. Class 3 is up to 5K. Over that requires a WD to be truly considered Class 4. The WD is an attachment option.

The Nissan Receiver for $235 is a well known bargain for the Titan crowd, highly recommended by all who have added it on. Be sure it includes the Relays in the kit. It can be bought without the Relays.

You will come across a cosmetic difference for later years, which will show the 7 pin looking a little different style housing and placement. I think it changed around 2007 or 2008 Model Year.

I had a u haul hitch on my old T and preffered it over the OEM because it acually fit better. theres no gap between the bumper and the hitch like the OEM on my current truck has.
Also the wiring box they sell has the 4 way flat and 7 pin so no need to carry an adapter. and the relays were like 20.00 a set for the blue ones at the uhaul by me.
