I have an 08 with a 4 inch lift and 35s. The truck doesn't have a towing package installed. What suggestions would you guys have in regards for a good set up? Thanks.

I added a tow package on my 06 with a 6" and 35's --got it from 4wheelparts and tow about 5500, no problems with power, geraing is a bit hight though.

Other than gearing, hitch, slighly higher CCA battery and tow mirrors you all ready have everything a Tow package truck has which is the trany cooler and trany temp gauge and you might have that. So do you realy need the battery, NO. Hitch yes, I recomend factory that comes with everything you need. Unless you have the off road version you have non tow gears. 3.36 is the tow gear. Good idea but costly. Mirrors, good idea if towing a TT.

guys, all I am talking about towing is a wake boat 15 minutes away. You are telling me stock gearing for the 5.6 will allow me to do this? boat weighs prob 3.5k pounds. We aren't talking hours of hauling at a time. Lake is 15 minutes away.

OK, yeah you should be fine.
Normally around here, when someone is wanting to tow with a lifted truck with 35's, he is wanting to know if it is OK to tow a 8800 lb TT with the 2.93 gears. :bangit: That boat will be no problem.
