I am new to this site as well as new to Titans. i bought a 2005 Titan in April
and i am now noticing a ticking coming from the front end when i am rolling at low speeds (10-12mph) i belive it is the front hubs. My last experience with 4x4 hubs was on a 85 blazer w/ auto locking hubs. i had to take them apart and grease them every now and again or they would stick. anyone know if Titans hav auto locking hubs that can be serviced or better yet have a schematic of the front hub?

First off check your tires for nails.
Then, what kind of wheels do you have?
There are some wheels out there that have the chrome cover that will click.
After that, I would try to get someone to help point out exactly where the noise is coming from.
Is it coming from the wheel area or under the truck?
Boil it down to a source and then work from there.

did it sound like this by any chance?

YouTube - XD REVOLVERS tapping clicking

my (cheap pep boys) lug nuts were loose. supposedly my wheels were about ready to fall off. went to america's tires to have them replaced w/ a more robust nut (they had them in stock). no clicking or wheels falling off since.

could be a cv joint..
