Do not get wheel spacers! What you want are called wheel adapters. Spacers are usually just thin pieces that sit between the wheel and the rotor where as adapters actually bolt onto the existing lugs and give you a new set of lugs to bolt the wheel onto.

Just did a quick search and here is what I am talking about
6 lug to 6 lug wheel adapter or wheel spacer

And adapters are safe, ran them for years on my past 2 trucks with out a single problem.

im running 1.50" adapters all the way around...

mine are hubcentric

I got mine from another member but here's a link....
Wheel Spacers

they are safe and look sweet. the only draw back i had when mine were on is that Discount Tire Co. would not touch my truck (rotate, balance, etc.) because i had the spacers on. Might be different other places but thats how they do it in Houston.

so these things do not cause an additional stress to the truck?

most after market items....wider wheels, wheel spacers, lifts, all cause additional stress to the truck and its components. They simply werent meant to be on the truck. wheel spacers are no different than any other aftermarket item we put on our T's. Im sure it puts additional stress on the wheel bearings and some other areas but your truck looks pretty monsterous in your sig pic so i wouldnt say wheel spacers are the most stressful thing your trucks going to deal with....

I agree with RollinPres, I think they do add stress but so do wheels that have less backspacing... My original concern was the same as yours thne I was told it's the same as if I were to buy wheels that would fit, except this gives me the option to go back to OEM offset... Honestly, I wouldn't be running them if my tires had fit on w/o them...

hmmm... thanks! haha i know im trying to get rid of the body lift and add spacers... being high is nice but the body lift cuases issues on the car i dont like dealing with every other weekend.

well see heres the thing... mine fit... pretty damn well too only when i hit bumps is it a little rough on my fenders but thats a height issue not a turning issue.

im just looking for a more aggressive stance. whats the smallest i can go (not wheel spacers) im really only looking for like 1/2" maybe a bit mroe to offset the front a bit wider than the rear.
