Finally got all my parts: CST 4" spindle, Daystar 2" strut spacer, CST CBD, Bilistien 5100's, 4" rear block, U bolts, cam bolts, and Pro comp XAT 35x12.5x18.

I will be doing the install my self does any one have any tips or tricks to install? Or can you post any links to write ups or videos on how to install any of these parts.

So, you bought new rear shocks, but no front ones, or did you get all 4?....

The Daystar spacer, is it the type that simply mounts on top of the front shock assembly?...

Just rear shocks. Using the stock front coilover. The Daystar sits on the top of the stock strut

May I suggest waiting to get some front shocks before the install....The stock front shocks are trash and doing the install with out replacing them is kind of a waste of time...

My 2 cents...:)

x2........

the stock front shocks are trash i agree, but that shouldnt stop him from doing the lift. i used the stock shocks when i first did the lift and had 0 problems.

Take your time and tape your knuckles before you start lol. It will save you a few trips to the sink to wash off your bleeding fingers when a wrench slips and you punch something in the wheel well as hard as you can.

Totally true but I think the point was that if you are taking apart your front end now would be the time to replace the front shocks with HD's. They are going to be laying in the driveway anyway when he puts the spacers on them.

I hear what your saying about the front schocks. I would love to replace them now but its just not in my budget. I plan to get front coilovers and rims next year after a save up some more money. I already dropped 2,700$.

I have some mechanics gloves but Im sure some tape on the knuckles wouldent hurt either.

Some people have told me to hit the spindle a few times to loosen the tie rod joints becasue they are tapered. Does that sound about right?
